Can we walk-in without a reservation?

Absolutely! We do hold a small portion of our dining room seats for walk-in guests, and our bar is also first come, first served with the full menu available.

Can you accommodate allergies and/or dietary restrictions?

Yes, we will gladly accommodate most allergies and dietary restrictions. Please try and let us know ahead of time if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions by either answering the questionnaire provided in the reservation process, or by emailing reservations@theheritagefp.com with your allergy or dietary restriction notes and your confirmation number for your reservation.

Do you have a gluten free, dairy free and/or vegetarian menu?

We do not have a separate menu for gluten free, dairy free, and/or vegetarian guests, but many of our items on the menu are already available as gluten free, dairy free, and/or vegetarian, or can be modified to fit your dietary needs.

What steps should I take if we are running behind for our reservation?

Please call us in advance of your reservation at (708) 435-4937 and let the host know that you are running behind. We typically hold tables for 15 minutes after their reservation time, at which time we will move on to the next party and you may experience a short wait for your table.

I have a party of 5 or more. Are we able to make a reservation?

As The Heritage has limited seating for large parties, we ask that you email reservations@theheritagefp.com, or call us at (708) 435-4937 to check on availability for parties of 5 or more.

I need to cancel my reservation. How do I go about that?

Please email us at reservations@theheritagefp.com or call us at (708) 435-4937 to cancel your reservation. We ask that you cancel 24 hours in advance of your reservation if possible.

How far in advance would you recommend making our reservation?

We recommend booking your reservation at least a week in advance as we fill up very quickly, especially for our weekend dinner hours, and have a limited number of seats for walk-in guests available.

How do we get to The Heritage?

The Heritage is located in Forest Park on Madison St, just west of Circle Ave. From Downtown (vehicle): take 290 West to Harlem. Exit right onto Harlem, and take a left on Madison St. We are located just past Circle Ave. on the north side of the street. From Downtown (via CTA blue line trains): exit at the Harlem station, walk north on Circle Ave. to Madison St. We are located on the north side of the street. From Downtown (via CTA Green Line trains): exit at the Harlem station, walk south on Harlem and take a right on Madison St. We are located on the north side of the street. From O'Hare: via Blue Line as listed above. If driving, take I-190 East to I-294 South then I-290 East to Exit 21A (Des Plaines Ave.) Take a left on Des Plaines, then a right on Madison. We are located on the north side of Madison St. From Midway: Take South Cicero Ave to I-55 South. Then take IL-171 North to 22nd St/W Cermak Rd in North Riverside. Then take Des Plaines Ave to Madison St. We are located on the north side of Madison St.
